Mastery Level

This machine mastery will be unlocked at a certain level, unfortunately I don't know which level starts with this feature. So 1 week after the latest update I managed to get 2 stars on some of my machines. At first, my initial estimation on which of my machines will be the longest to reach 3 stars are the smelters since 2 star requirement already need 1540 hours (all 5 smelters combine). But I was wrong. I forgot the fact that my coffee kiosk is not always on 24 hour production queue unlike my smelters that are always producing 24/7. Furthermore my kiosk needs materials that I don't always have a surplus off. And the product itself varies from 5minutes to 30minutes max to produce. So actually the shorter the production time, the longer it takes to reach the level hour quota due to the lack of materials. In my estimation my coffee kiosk can take 2 months or even more, depending on how many I can make a day. Same like my Jeweler, is not always producing 24/7 since the material for it is not always available. Unlike my sugar mill that's producing 24/7 because I expand to max slot and always have the needed material to produce. I need 350hrs more to reach the final 3 stars. So in 2 weeks I will have 3 star sugar mill hehehe. Below is the list of level requirement of the machines. I lost my notes on the 1 star hour requirement database, so some might not be accurate. Please do correct me if you see an error. After few updates, the mastery level database finally complete.

Machine Mastery

By far the most brilliant feature that got added to the game! Now with the new mastery system, we can get more coins, xp and most importantly, time speed. The idea itself is also a form of reward for active players. Let's assume the 1st coin level takes 2-4 days, the 2nd xp level takes 5-20 days and the 3rd time level takes 20-60 days. So roughly in a month my farm will start to improve in earning, leveling or possibly producing speed from some of the lower level machines. And the great thing about it, that's is totally free! Just doing our normal daily routine will eventually get us there, no diamond needed, no other weird currency needed, so easy! Yet so useful! I've done some counting on the 15% time reduction. If for say I produce white sugar for 20hr straight, it means I got 30 white sugar. But with 15% reduction time, in 20hr I can get 35 white sugar! =D Yay! This is one of the example of course. I've done all the time reduction calculation. I didn't calculate coin and xp because it's based on delivery quests that contains a combination of several items. Here they are, the future of our super machinery!

Candy Machine

After waiting for 1day 7 hour to get this candy machine ready, I finally can write this post. I'm so eager to write new info because this tiny blog with only 18 post has more than 22k visits. So here it is, I can't wait to share this new info with you guys! For further detail on price and level please check my Machine & Product post. I decided not to expand this machine since the production of the items vary from 1.5hr to 1 day. The thing is now with these new products, it creates more stress on my sugar mill. Now we have 18 products in total that need sugar product. If I compare it to 2 feed mills that we got at the very beginning that feed less than 18 animals, our sugar-need now sort of requires 2 sugar mills as well. The amount of products that need sugar is increasing more and more, comparable to the amount of our animals. At this rate, soon no one will sell any sugar/syrup in the market because they desperately need it themselves. And how about the people who keep doing sugar deliveries or boat order, what happens then? Ah yes, since all the products already unlocked for me, I can't see the level requirement anymore. So I'm still lacking level info of each candy product, if anyone would care to share it to me, that would be appreciated.

Sleeping Farm 07/01/2013

Ah, holiday is over. Oh well, at least now I can go back playing on my farm again. I'm sort of inactive on HD in the past 3 weeks or so due to the holiday season. I play a max of 3 hours a day during that time. This I consider to be very low for me since I usually can play up to 7hrs++/day average. I suppose playing 2 or 3 hrs a day is considered a normal playing hour for some people. So I made a note during the holidays on how much progress I made compared to a normal day. With less time to play, I automatically don't browse the brochure like I used to. In result of course I spend much much less since I don't buy item for my delivery quest. This also means I got stable income that keeps rising since there's barely any spending. Actually after comparing what I do when I'm active compare to 'inactive' the difference is the amount of XP I gain. Obviously I feel leveling is super slow compared to my normal way. But oddly income is not that much of a difference. Well of course you earn more when you buy and sell, but when you don't buy and keep producing your income is comparable to an active trader style. My point being is that, all this time I browse the brochure to do trading all day is actually quite useless. Because I'm at the stage where coins is 'too' abundant for me. I do it merely to provide items for my follower. Because I think one of the biggest attraction to get loyal followers is, well obviously a 'cheap price' (which I don't do) and availability of products in my road shop. And yet another thing I found out is by playing less, there are certain items that I can't sustain. Which is stuff for mining, shovel, dynamite & TNT. To get these item I have to hunt! There is no way I can keep up with my 5 machines without hunting these tools. Other stuff like axe and saw are lacking, but that's easy to solve since I don't need to harvest my bush/tree every time, stop selling the fruit and only use it for myself. Therefore they will not wilt unless I used them all up. But in all, playing 2-3hrs/day is still ok for me. I manage to get all my 6 horses even without hiring Tom anymore or frantically hunt jewelry in the market for the last 3 weeks. At this stage leveling up fast is also pointless, no more objective for me. Playing HD for me is 4hrs average nowadays and that's quite ideal for me.
